I am the kind of guy that takes action first, thinks later.
While that hasn’t gotten me into trouble yet, I have run into a few issues.
Ironically 1 of the issues that came up was with the I liked to have the running pretty much all morning, because I adore the apartment to stay as cool as possible. My roommate warned me in advance that that would burn out the cooling machine’s lifespan, plus I should quit while I was ahead. I didn’t know him. Air conditioners were literally made to run, plus I thought it wouldn’t affect it. So our roommate told me that since I wasn’t listening, that if the cooling component breaks, I am responsible for all costs. I waved him off plus told him not to worry. I guess I should have been the 1 to worry because a few weeks later the air conditioner equipment unexpectedly crashed. Okay not that giant of a deal, I had the cooling professional come out, plus our eyes almost bulged out of our head when he told me the service bill! Apparently the cooling component was suffering from a lot of neglect so it was going to be fancy to repair. I really didn’t want to spend our money our service bill, however I was going to have to unless I wanted to live without air conditioner. Reluctantly, I paid to have it fixed plus the a/c started to work again. My roommate didn’t say anything, however I knew what he was thinking. I guess I will have to be more careful next time.
