I spent 4 years in College learning different marketing ideas and strategies.
After I was finished in college, I got a job working for a company downtown. I learned a lot about marketing while I was there, but I left after 6 months to move to the job where I am now. This place offered me a two grand sign on bonus plus stock options. I also have medical, dental, and vision benefits and insurance. Currently it is my job to market heating and air conditioning equipment. I work with several different clients, and each one of the clients has their own website. It’s up to me to keep the website updated with new information every single week. I add new product descriptions and content. I also help with advertising and marketing the HVAC products. One of my best clients called me on tuesday. The guy was frantic because the company website was down for three days. I was away all weekend on vacation. I took off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. When I got back to the office, there were several phone calls from the owner of the heating and air conditioning business. As soon as I sat down at my computer and listened to the phone calls, I started working on the website issues. It didn’t take long to realize why the problem was occurring. After I fixed everything up, I contacted the customer to let him know that everything was working fine. He thanked me for being so diligent and getting the website work done quickly.
