All of us are honestly going to have to do something about the giant window that’s on the west side of our house; then the way that the room starts heating up in the day sun is costing us a fortune in air cooler bills while in the Spring, summer, and fall.
The only time that it is honestly helpful is while in the coldest Winter weeks. I am not honestly sure why the general corporation who built this cabin put that window in right there in the first locale. In our opinion, it should have been located elsewhere in the house. I also guess it would be better if it was the day sun that came in rather than the night sun. I don’t know, maybe the girl just had a thing for sunsets and she wanted whoever bought the cabin to be able to watch them every night… However, since the room starts heating up so much, nobody even wants to go in there, much less watch any of the sunsets. It’s honestly terrible, and in the summer, the two of us have to spend a fortune in cooling bills because of it. It heats up literally the whole house. It’s pretty helpful in the winter, because you can go in there and get warmed up when the rest of the cabin might be a little bit freezing, but in the summer, you can just forget it. It gets so tepid in there, that even when you’re resting right next to that air cooler vent in the corner of the room, the temperature is still too moderate to stay in there for absolutely long. It’s unfortunate because that room has the comfiest furniture of anywhere else in the house. It would be a good locale for family celebrations in those days if only it wasn’t so hot.
