The new HVAC worker turned the prank around

The HVAC appliance workers in our company have a horrible way to indoctrinate new HVAC servicemans.

If they were in a university fraternity, it would be something similar to hazing without the alcohol or dangerous stunts.

They would send the new HVAC serviceman to the ‘haunted’ dwelling and have him do the oil furnace repairs and servicing, and before he left, they let him guess there were ghosts and potential vampires living in that house. There were seasoned coffins in the basement, and at times the lids had opened on their own, just as the HVAC serviceman arrived. I kept telling everyone they shouldn’t do this to new HVAC techs. I was afraid they would have someone so petrified that they would not go and would quit the work altogether. That wouldn’t be fair to the new serviceman. They said that everyone went through it and if the new serviceman couldn’t handle everything, then he should not be an HVAC appliance serviceman. I shook my head and walked away… When the new HVAC appliance serviceman came back that day, he was honestly flushed and had a bandaid on his neck. One of the older HVAC techs snickered and asked how his first time to the ‘haunted’ dwelling went. He basically stated that he was dizzy, and all he could remember was someone grabbing him from behind and kissing his neck. He totally pulled off the bandaid to show marks on his neck that looked something like teeth marks. He then chose to wink at me and walked away. I heard the guy telling one of the other ‌servicemans that the dwelling was really cool and it’s amazing what makeup can do to create bite marks.
