There’s a room in our lake house that just doesn’t ever seem to cool off while in the summer.
It’s the upstairs family room plus it feels love the temperature there is usually twenty degrees hotter than any other room in the lake house while in the summer time months.
It wouldn’t be such a large deal, but I’ve recently had to transfer into that room to sleep plus I simply cannot sleep in there with the temperature being so hot. I have central air conditioning in our house, plus it does a fantastic task of cooling off the rest of the house; But for some reason, I just can’t get that upstairs family room to cool off at all. I’ve actually even been thinking about buying a window unit a/c to put into the family room. I dislike to do that, though, since I’m already paying cooling bills every month for our central air conditioning. I easily suppose that there should be some way to get our central air conditioning to cool off that family room, but I don’t easily assume what to do. I called our local heating plus cooling supplier plus they said that most of the time when you have a single room that won’t retain heating plus cooling, it’s because of an issue with your air duct, then the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman said that periodically if your air ducts are cracked or not sealed properly, it will easily affect the temperature in your room. I suppose I’m going to have them come out to check the air duct sealing for us; Hopefully they can figure out the problem.
