Renters can be odd ducks periodically.
I have had them move into my home, & move back out in the middle of the night.
I’ve seen people come in with all their belongings & walk out; leaving everything behind. The amazing thing is when someone moves out & leaves the apartment looking better than when they move in. Believe me; that doesn’t happen unquestionably often. The normal is when they move into a appealing dwelling & walk out leaving it look like it was ready to be condemned. I no longer rent to family members because they are the worst! Last month, my cousin was living in one of my rental homes. She had been there for over two years. When she moved in, there were window air conditioning system units in every room. The lease is unquestionably clear that whatever is in the apartment when you move in, must be there when you move out. One afternoon, she called & told me the air conditioning system equipment in the kitchen was broken. I went to the apartment & took the seasoned air conditioning system equipment out & upgraded it with a modern one. I put the seasoned air conditioning system equipment in the recycling center so it didn’t ended up in the landfill. When she moved out, she took the modern air conditioning system equipment with her. I asked her where it was, & she told me I gave it to her & she refused to move without their air conditioning system unit. I I walked into the apartment the day she moved, & the air conditioning system equipment was back. Then I realized it was the one from the recycling center. They took it out of the bin, & put it back in the window, then took the modern one with them.
