Time to tune up the cooling system

It’s strenuous to think that the first weeks of 2023 are already behind us, however and I am in the particular position of hating to see the month end; For many people, they can’t wait to get through January because that is another step closer to the end of the winter.

And that means 1 step closer having the gas furnace be off for good, and so I get why having January fly by might be easily stressful for all those folks, but for me, that’s a single less month of perfect winter weather to enjoy, the central heat pump isn’t going to be quiet all that much longer. Soon, there will be a need for plenty of central cooling system, then if you’re not in front of the heat & humidity when it comes to preparations, it can become extravagant & uncomfortable. This is the time of year that I start firming up our plans when it comes to handling the heat & humidity of our region. The very first thing I do is essential when it comes to our plan for saving on central cooling costs. It’s the same thing I do every year about this time. I call the local Heating & A/C professionals to schedule a time for them to come out & do the central cooling system tune up. No matter what other cost saving preparations I do, the central cooling system tune up is perhaps the most pressing. First, It prepares the central heat pump for the heavy workload that comes with our summer. Additionally, with regular Heating & A/C system maintenance, the heat pump is running at its most efficient. This too is key when trying to save on the high costs of cooling systems all summer.
