I went from $90k to $15k in a matter of four months with my poor timing on investing.
- When it hit the bottom a week ago I was feeling so guilty and sad for losing almost all of the money my father gave me when he passed away.
I lost a lot of sleep and was very upset with my decisions but now I can see that it may be turning around so I just need to be patient and positive. Everything that goes up must come down, and the opposite holds true also. My dad was an HVAC repairman and surely he worked very hard to make that money, and then I turned around and tossed it away after a few months. It’s just not a very good feeling on many fronts. I also work in the HVAC industry and saved a good amount of money but then threw it all away to pursue a career in the arts. I’m happy with my choice of pursuing something that I feel passionate about but not so happy about barely having enough money to get by. My central heating system went out last winter and I didn’t even have enough money to get it fixed and didn’t have the tools to do it myself, so I went the rest of the season without heat and froze in my flat most of the time. I’m hoping that by the time the next winter comes around my cryptos will have made enough money to get the HVAC system fixed so I have heat again.
