They have been in the industry at the marina for 40 years
I know it’s an old cliche, but my partner truly is also my best friend on this planet. I don’t know what we would do without each other and I think we were great as a team. My partner and I have been friends for the past 3 years, long before we started dating. The two of us started working at the same local commercial Heating & Air Conditioning company together, but Lou and I like some of the same activities outside of work, so the two of us have a wonderful relationship. I was hired a week before Lou started, and the two of us were assigned to work together shortly after that. The two of us have happily been working partners ever since that morning. Lou and I are usually sent out to work on commercial Heating & Air Conditioning problems, however we realize that one of the greatest reasons is because Lou and I have boiler experience. There are only a handful of people around here that have boiler experience; Most people don’t have a boiler in their house in this area for residential heating needs, but a lot of commercial customers still use this particularly big heating device, and a boiler can be used in multiple commercial and industrial applications rather easily. Last week the two of us went down to the marina to work carefully on a boiler problem. Lou and I have been to this company on 3 other chances already this year. They regularly make boats and service other seaworthy equipment. They have been in the industry at the marina for 40 years. The boiler is genuinely that old. I’m pretty sure it’s on the last leg, but I can understand why they would make this choice to keep repairing it, because another commercial boiler will cost a ton.
