I was talking to a guy at an auction last week.
He was there to buy the household they had up for auction.
I wanted to estimate on some of the furniture my wife was interested in. I had looked at the house, however I couldn’t figure out who lives in a household without Heating as well as A/C? I thought it would be uncomfortable plus drafty in the house… You needed heat plus air conditioning in a home. I wanted nothing to do with the house, but this young guy did. He said it was the perfect household for him plus his family. I started telling him there was no Heating as well as A/C, plus it needed rewired, but he didn’t care. He said it was all something that could be handled with some great old-fashioned know-how. He said he could do most of the work, plus what he couldn’t do, his brothers could. He told me they all worked hard plus helped each other. I shook his hand plus told him he was a better guy than I was. I would not even consider a household that didn’t have air conditioning or a furnace. He said there was a fireplace plus windows that opened. That would be enough until they got the household finished. I wondered if he was a minimalist, or if he was going to overhaul the household plus resell it for ten times what he paid for the house. I never got to say anything more to the man. The rocking chairs my wife wanted came up for auction plus five minutes later I was bidding on the living room set.
