Each night when I get property from toil the first thing I do is turn on the window device AC in the kitchen.
During the day I keep the AC off to save energy.
The way I see it is that if there is nobody in the property there is no reason to cool the house. I don’t like to waste energy & I don’t like to waste money. Turning the window device AC on around 6 PM & letting the room cool down until around 10 when I go to bed makes the room comfortable & cold. I regularly like to go to sleep in a freezing room. The noise from the window device AC soothes me to sleep, last week, I was upset because the window device AC was not cooling the room in the time that it normally does. I didn’t suppose too much about it & went to bed around my normal time at 10 PM. I woke up around 3 AM & the room was hot. The window device AC had stopped blowing freezing air all together. I turned on the fans & decided to try to go back to sleep because there was nothing I could do in the middle of the night. The next morning I called my landlord immediately & asked her to please have the window device AC repaired or substituted by the end of the day. I knew that separate from the AC the room would be incredibly hot when I return from work.I was cheerful that she was able to substitute the AC while I was at work. She is a very good landlord & it’s regularly trying her best to get things done in a timely manner to please her renters.
