Lately, I have been having to travel a ton for work.
- I work for a hotel company that is expanding and we have had a ton of openings in the last six months that I am required to be at.
I loved that my job allows me to travel and see parts of the country that I might not have gotten to see otherwise. However, all this travel has me worried about my house. I just moved into a new home and I haven’t quite gotten used to it yet. I am still figuring everything out and I didn’t really want to leave it quite yet. The one thing that really has me worried is my HVAC system. I am never really sure what I should set the thermostat on and I feel like I am wasting money when I go out of town by leaving on the heating and cooling system. When I got back home from my most recent travels I called a local HVAC company to see if there was anything I could do to ease my worries. The HVAC tech that I spoke with recommend that I install a smart thermostat. A smart thermostat will allow me to change the temperature of the HVAC system in my house on my cell phone. This way I don’t have to worry about the HVAC system while I am out of town for work! I am going to have the smart thermostat installed right when I get home and I can’t wait to start testing it out.
