I am getting the wheels moving again today and it is taking a while to do so.
Today is Monday, and normally it is just a regular workday, but today is a holiday and it is going to be a little bit wilder here in town than normal.
I was just down by the coast and didn’t see that many people yet, but I think later on there will be a lot of day travelers coming here to enjoy the beach. It is a bit overcast though and some people don’t like to come to the beach. Furnace heating in my flat is necessary this morning as the air in here is pretty cool and needs a little heating. I will meet my buddy Tom in a couple of hours and hang out in the sand for a while and chill out. We are both in the heating and cooling industry and have the day off today because of the holiday, as both of our HVAC companies are closed today and we won’t be going back to work till the middle of the week. Tomorrow they will be closed as well for inventory and we will both have the day off and will probably do the same thing we did today. This town has a lot of local businesses that depend on the tourists for money, and on cloudy days like this they are usually very slow. We will just have an easy day and I will maybe bring my drum and play for a bit on the beach if I feel like it.
