The fact that this was the fourth or fifth time that I forgot an HVAC maintenance appointment was not lost on me.
And paying an HVAC service charge without the service is no fun.
But that’s on me. And it has happened far too often. It really was quite vexing for me. I really hate to forget things and I hate paying for something I don’t get even more. But most importantly, I’m not living up to my end when it comes to the HVAC maintenance. That’s really all that matters. We invested a great deal of money in our residential HVAC and HVAC technology. That means it’s essential that I get the HVAC professionals out here seasonally for maintenance. It’s also stated in the factory warranty that we have to get regular HVAC maintenance to comply with the warranty. So once again, I’m on the phone with the lady at the HVAC company to make another appointment. She’s always so nice and laughs about me forgetting again. But this time, she also came up with a solution. Instead of doing this over and over again, she suggested that I join the HVAC service plan. This is a program provided by our HVAC company which centers around HVAC maintenance. The HVAC company actually makes the appointments and all I have to do is confirm online. They then have access to the HVAC equipment and I don’t even have to be around. This just makes so much more sense than me making HVAC appointments only to forget them.
