When I was recently changing the mower blades on the riding lawn mower, I ended up hurting my shoulder.
- I was surprised but it was because I was yanking on the wrench trying to break the nut loose.
I ended up hurting my shoulder and thought I could easily walk it off. My shoulder was hurting for a long time after that and I kept resting next to the HVAC vent so the A/C would help ease the pain in my shoulder. I also used an ice compress as I figured that would help. I noticed there was something wrong with the motion of my shoulder and it kept bothering me. My wife ended up talking me into going to the hospital. I was not happy when I got in there because I thought the place was too ice-cold thanks to their blasting commercial HVAC system. Still, I did appreciate the fact that it seemed to make my shoulder feel slightly better, but I also started shivering. When I had X-rays done and I was examined properly, it turned out that I needed surgery to fix my shoulder. I was surprised but this is what I was being told. Fortunately, my insurance would cover the surgery but it wasn’t something that I looked forward to. So I got it together and got myself in there for the surgery. Oh, it was so cold with that blasting A/C system, but they knocked me out so I didn’t have to feel unbearable. I woke up being told the surgery was successful but I needed a lot of time to recover. I stayed in bed with the A/C comfort at home for 2 weeks before I could get back to my life.
