I tore up the furnace the other day and now the whole family is mad at me because of it.
I really don’t think that there is any reason for them all to be mad at me! I mean, after all, I wasn’t really doing anything wrong at all.
I was only trying to save us some money by trying to fix the issue that was going on with the furnace myself. I just didn’t want to have to spend the money to have the HVAC company send a repairman over to my house. I was afraid that I would have to pay a fortune to get the furnace fixed. I just didn’t want to take that chance and so I decided that I was just going to try and fix it myself. Well, my wife told me to stop messing around with the furnace and that made me mad. It’s like no one in my very own family has any faith in me at all when it comes to fixing things around the house. I don’t know why everyone is so rude about it whenever I get my toolbox out of the garage. I think that they should put a little more trust in me, but I guess I don’t have the greatest track record whenever it comes to fixing things around the house. I know that I’m not the best do-it-yourself-er out there, but I’m not the worst one either. Sometimes I really like fixing things around the house, but most of the time I don’t. The other day when the furnace broke down I must admit that I didn’t really know what to do. I tried to fix it but I only made it worse and now the whole family has on their coats and they are all mad at me.
