My sister wanted a grand home theater.

I love my sister, but she has some crazy ideas about what she can do with her small home.

Last week, she told me she was going to turn her entire basement into a grand home theater.

I looked around her basement, and asked her where she was going to get the grand from, which did not make her happy. She simply told me where there’s a will, there’s a way, but I wasn’t having it. Her basement had dirt floors, the furnace was taking up the back quarter of the basement, and her washer and dryer were sitting on boards in the other corner. I asked her how many people would be going into that grand home theater, and she told me it would be whomever she invited; which I was sure was not going to be me. She was picturing a wall with a door, going up in front of the washer, dryer, and furnace. She was going to have her husband cement over the dirt, and put heavy carpeting over the cement. She showed me where she was going to have the large movie screen, and how she was going to set the chairs up on platforms so people could sit behind each other and still see the movie screen. She even had an idea of where she was going to place the movie camera to project the pictures onto the screen. Knowing my sister, I was sure that if she accomplished what she wanted for the basement, she would truly have a grand home theater. When I hugged her, I told her that I hope it comes to fruition because I would like to experience her new grand home theater when it is done.
