I know that we should try to make sure that the building is in good shape, but I am beginning to wonder if we didn’t purchase a lemon of a building! I think that it’s going to cost us a lot of money to get the new HVAC system installed and the basement fixed
Our basement at church flooded last week and it ruined the HVAC system. I still can’t believe that this happened to us. It’s like one thing after another happens with this building that we are trying to have a church in. it’s just crazy and it’s making me super mad about the fact that we bought this building in the first place. At this point, I wish that we had never even bought this building. We would be better off if we were still renting a space because at least that wasn’t a money pit like this place is. I don’t know. I just don’t think that we are being good stewards of our church’s money by spending it on a place like this. It’s always something around here and it is driving me nuts. I think that we should try to sell the place and start all over again, but I know that no one else would agree with me. I hate the fact that we have already had to replace the air conditioning system completely in the building and now we are going to have to replace the entire HVAC system again because of the flooded basement! It just seems like something has got to give with this place.
