It was a bittersweet moment for me when we actually took that last look around the family home before moving out.
The whole process was not one that I would want to repeat and I’m glad I don’t have to.
It was just so much for us to do in order to get the house on the market and sell it for as much as we could. The first thing we had to do was upgrade the HVAC equipment and the HVAC technology. And the HVAC unit was at the end of its life actually. So whether we sold the house or not we had to replace the HVAC equipment. We’re just really lucky that our HVAC company made the process seamless and easy. I know that when I initially started doing research I was overwhelmed by all the advances in HVAC technology and just didn’t know what to choose. We needed all the renovations to the house to go as smoothly as possible. The entire process was difficult for my husband and I when it came to letting go of the place where we raised our children. We also had to get rid of so much stuff that we had accumulated over a lifetime together. That was quite an ordeal. But sitting here today inside the best quality heating and air I’ve ever had, it seems worth it. We built a small house and chose a geothermal heat pump for residential HVAC. The radiant floor heating and the incredible efficiency make this choice one of my favorites when it comes to our new home.
