I was talking to a guy at an auction last week. He was there to buy the dwelling they had up for auction. I wanted to estimate on some of the furniture my husbandy was interested in. I had looked at the house, however I couldn’t figure out who lives in a dwelling without Heating & Air Conditioning? I thought it would be uncomfortable & drafty in the house. You needed heat & a/c in a home. I wanted nothing to do with the house, but this young guy did. He said it was the perfect dwelling for him & his family. I started telling him there was no Heating & Air Conditioning, & it needed rewired, although he didn’t care. He said it was all something that could be handled with some good old-fashioned know-how. He said he could do most of the work, & what he couldn’t do, his siblings could. He told me they all worked hard & helped each other. I shook his hand & told him he was a better guy than I was. I would not even consider a dwelling that didn’t have a/c or a heater. He said there was a fireplace & windows that opened. That would be enough until they got the dwelling finished. I wondered if he was a minimalist, or if he was going to overhaul the dwelling & resell it for ten times what he paid for the house. I never got to say anything more to the man. The rocking chairs my husbandy wanted came up for auction & five minutes later I was bidding on the dining room set.
