Once the ducts and air vents were all scrubbed clean, and the air filter replaced, I closed up the condo again
For my annual holiday this year I stayed at beach condo for a good, deep cleaning of the locale. If cleaning the condo for my week-long holiday sounds boring, you’re right it is boring! My wifey Beth had dumped me and moved out 2 weeks before, so I didn’t feel like taking a holiday to have fun. I wanted to clean every trace of her from the condo both of us used to share. I also wanted to be a hermit and get drunk and stoned and cry myself to sleep every night. What can I say, it was a poor breakup! Beth was so deeply ingrained into the condo that she even permeated the air quality. The scent of her still floated in the air, which made me even more sad. I turned off the a/c and opened up the condo to let the outside breezes in. I needed natural ventilation to disinfect out those outdated odors. While I had everything airing out I took the opportunity to replace the air filter. I wanted to take it a step further, so I removed a few of the air grates so I could disinfect out the air duct… Of course there was no way I could disinfect all of the air ducts without special tools, but I did the best I could. Once the ducts and air vents were all scrubbed clean, and the air filter replaced, I closed up the condo again. It odored a lot better! Then I started smoking copious amounts of weed, to make the air quality odor like me.
