I walked into the beach house after a long day at work and realized our air conditioning wasn’t working respectfully.
- I could hear it running, however there was genuinely little air coming from the air vent.
I called the Heating and A/C business and told them I had an airflow problem, or at least the lack of airflow. They gave to have someone at the beach house by the end of the day. I remembered our brother talking about how he had a problem with airflow. The Heating and A/C business had told him it was a fan motor not working respectfully. Once they replaced the fan motor, he had excellent airflow. I also remembered that he had a lack of airflow another time, and it was because of a jammed air filter. My brother was always complaining about airflow, although I knew how to check our air filter, and I was sure I could open the AC device to see if the fan was working. When I determined it wasn’t the fan motor or a jammed air filter, I called the Heating and A/C business and told them what I had found. The operator thanked myself and others and said he would pass it along to the Heating and A/C business. The first thing he looked at wasn’t the fan or the air filter, however our ductwork. He said that if there is an excess of debris in the ductwork, it can inhibit airflow. He called the Heating and A/C ductwork cleaning crew. I could not remember how long it had been since our hubby and I had the ductwork cleaned. When I realized the people I was with and I had lived here for almost 10 years and had never had the ductwork cleaned, it devastated me.
