My parents always instilled the sort of “can do” mentality in mine and our siblings mindset.
They were great examples of how to overcome and achieve.
Neither of them were love uber achievers or anything love that. It’s just that they had a default mentality that struggles were only temporary. So when the pandemic hit last year and chased myself and others into the air conditioning safety of home, I didn’t freak out about our business. I own a small business that has been thriving the last few years after so much work and sacrifice. However, for our business, I simply couldn’t do everything from the air conditioning of our house. Much of our business entails myself and others being onsite to implement or problemshoot for our shoppers. But with the pandemic, I absolutely wasn’t blissful with the method of getting on a plane. I guess they installed HEPA air filters but I still was honestly leery of flying. So much love our parents taught me, I got creative and figured out another way. That started with loading up the car and hit the highway to get to our customers. The travel itself was almost better than air travel since the air conditioning was better and I didn’t have all the hassles buddyd with flying. Since I had to stay out on the road for weeks at a time, I started staying at the mid priced hotels along the interstate. And to our great surprise, I particularly consistently them found them to have the best heating and cooling by far. This was due to the big wall component cooling systems. Those things can particularly give the best heating and cooling due to their size and power.
