I am a college student that currently lives at home.
A lot of my friends live in apartments, but I don’t mind living at home with my parents.
They pay for everything and they give me a lot of freedom. I don’t have to worry about toilet paper, paper towels, or laundry detergent. My mom makes me breakfast every morning before she goes to work. My mom also makes dinner at night. I have a part-time job, but I would need to work a lot more hours if I was living on my own. A lot of my friends think that living alone gives them a lot of freedom, but I think my parents give me freedom by allowing me to live at home for free. Last Tuesday, my morning class was canceled. My mom asked me to stay home and wait for the HVAC repair. He was going to come by to perform a tune up. My mom told me that the appointment was scheduled for 11. I didn’t mind waiting for the HVAC technician to arrive. I got up around 9 and had some breakfast. I ate Fruity Pebbles and toast, because my mom left for work early. She didn’t have any time to make pancakes, eggs, or bacon. I was sitting at the table in my pajamas, when I heard a knock on the door. Since it was only a few minutes past 9, I didn’t expect the HVAC tech to be the person knocking on the door. I went to the door in my pajamas and I was startled to see the heating and cooling professional. I didn’t have any time to change, and I was forced to answer the door in my boxers.
