I had been having the worst time with flu symptoms these past few weeks.
After some investigating, it turned out that the reason for this was because the duct work for our HVAC system had not been cleaned in a long time! Every time our system would go on, it would end up spreading all kinds of dirt and dust around the home out of the air vents. Once I figured all of this out, I made that call to our local HVAC business, to send out a certified specialist for a cleaning. This was going to be a little more expensive than your typical cleaning, because it had been so long – a deep cleaning had to be done. I got the work done; within the same day, I already noticed a difference in my flu symptoms! I ended up buying a portable whole-home air purifier to clean the indoor air conditions from room to room, to get rid of all the dust and dirt. Then, all was ok once again. I will for sure regularly keep up with the duct cleaning from this day forward, as I do not want something like this to ever end up happening again.
