My kid is trying her hand at being her own boss for the first time.
She saved up some money & I matched it so she could purchase some shrubbery care equipment.
Hey, I was gleeful to help a kid who would rather get out there & work than stay inside the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C & play online gaming all afternoon. I’m pretty proud of him as she has gotten a few yards already. So when she asked me if she could practice with her current electric shears, I said sure of course. She trimmed the boxwood that hides our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C condenser cottageet. It came out a bit lopsided so together, every one of us evened it up. The positive side is that my kid now knows how to trim a hedge, the bad part is the boxwood is quite a bit shorter. But those things grow back right? Well, as far as the HOA people are nervous, the boxwood growing back is a moot point. They wrote me a warning letter threatening to superb me if I don’t replant or build a fence. I thought this was a joke at first. But after talking with the HOA compliance person, I found out that they were indeed capable of being completely unacceptable. It was a short conversation as I told them that my Heating, Ventilation, & A/C unit could hardly be seen from the street even if every one of us unaffixd the hedge. I further told them that, within months, this would no longer be an issue. This HOA girl began making threats so I simply ended the phone call. My wife will appreciate this. She’s an attorney who likes sticking it to people that suppose they are better than others. This HOA girl has no proposal what she is in for.
