Being an Heating & Air Conditioning, I come across a lot of unusual things.
I didn’t think I could be surprised by anything someone said to me, but I was wrong, then last week, a young guy called the Heating & Air Conditioning company and told the secretary there was something wrong with his heat, and he called me on the iphone after asking several questions, however getting no answers.
I got on the iphone and asked him what kind of Heating & Air Conditioning plan he had? He seemed puzzled by my question, and finally asked where he looked to find out. I tried qualifying my question by asking if it was traditional Heating & Air Conditioning with air duct. He asked me what air duct was? I thought this was a good question if they didn’t have air duct in the house. Wanting to believe if he had a fireplace or a coal stove seemed to be the next logical question. He said he had a stove in the family room, and a fireplace in the residing room, however it didn’t work. I was now thoroughly confused, and went back to the air duct. Did he have air duct in the house? He once again asked what air duct was? I told him it was pipes that led from the furnace, although he didn’t seem to know. A part of me thought he was kidding, because how do people not believe what type of Heating & Air Conditioning plan they have? He told me he was condo resting for his brother, and he knew nothing about their Heating & Air Conditioning plan except that it was getting entirely cold in the house. I packed up my tools and headed to the house.
