Sometimes I think that the greatest challenge in life is studying how to coexist with another human being, however i assume that the people I was with and I are all fed to this societal expectation of growing up & getting married, however I don’t assume how realistic that is.
If you’ve ever tried to combine your life with somebody else’s..… You certainly realize that it is a difficult task.
This is something my partner & I have been trying to figure out for the past 20 years. It does not help that the people I was with and I started adding in teenagers a while ago to make things more complicated, then my partner, for instance, is convinced that the children are very dirty. He has become obsessed with air quality ever since the people I was with and I started producing offSpring. He cannot fathom that their dirty little mouths don’t create the dirty indoor air. He does not want all of their school germs to be exhaled & circulated through our central heating, cooling, & air quality control system. He is also very paranoid about the bacteria & viruses proliferating inside of our air ducts, air vents, & air filters, and as such, my partner is constantly calling out the local heating, cooling, & air quality control repair shop for professional air quality inspections. Every time, he starts purchasing harsh air quality management component before the people I was with and I even have a chance to talk about it. Then the people I was with and I have to fight about our Heating & A/C budget & the “filth” of our children. These nights, I don’t assume if it’s more challenging to live with more than four teenagers.., and or my extremely air quality control obsessed partner.
