There’s something to be said about real fireplaces, over electric ones.
They are better in your home than fake fireplaces.
For one thing. They can warm your home! No electricity or gas is ever needed. If I could afford to get a real fireplace installed in my home, I would. We had a fireplace growing up. And having that real fireplace just made winters more special than they are today. There is nothing like the feeling of coming in from a freezing cold snow storm and cuddling up by the fireplace with a nice cup of warm cocoa or tea. It’s not the same with an electric fireplace or gas fireplace, because there really isn’t any fire. Only in the gas fireplace will you have a flame, but it is gas generated, and that scares some people. I do not like having gas around at all. I would rather just make a bon fire outside, and sit near it than have an electric fireplace or gas fireplace in our home. It just doesn’t make sense to me. But I just wanted to share our opinion on electric fireplaces, gas fireplaces as well as original real fireplaces. It was just something that needed to be said, in my humble opinion.
