On those cold winter nights when my central heat is not keeping me warm enough I can always count on my cat Hoo to keep me warm. He sits next to me when I am working and is so warm that sometimes I need to move him to my other side. He is quite fat as he has some slow metabolism, said the doctors, and always seems to eat the bowl of food within a few minutes and meows for more. I do have a space heater in my office but with the cat I don’t really need to run it unless we are having a particularly cold night. I like to watch movies about storms at sea because it reminds me how comfortable I am in my flat. I am happy to have a central HVAC system because some of the places in my town have none at all. It can get pretty cold here in the winter with temperatures dipping well below freezing for months on end. I don’t know how these people sleep at night with no heater in their bedroom. I guess they pile a bunch of blankets on top of them like I see the homeless people doing some times. I want to get my HVAC equipment tuned up soon because we are going to be in spring in a few days and that means summer is coming very soon after. We have about five months of very hot weather so I like to have my air conditioning working at its optimum level. Life is awesome!
