There was an issue with the mower blades on the riding grass mower that my older brother was fixing.
He ended up hurting his wrist because he was yanking on the wrench trying to break the nut loose.
My older brother hurt his wrist and thought he could really continue working. His wrist was hurting for a long time after that and he kept placing it next to the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C vent so the air conditioning would help ease the pain in the wrist. My older brother also used an ice compress as he thought that would do the trick. He noted there was something wrong with the motion of his wrist after some time. I ended up forcing him to go to the ER. My brother was ticked off when we got in there because he thought the locale was too ice-freezing due to their blasting commercial Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system. But, he did like the fact that it seemed to make his wrist knot slightly better despite him shivering. When my older brother had X-rays done and was examined officially, the doctor said he needed surgery to service his wrist. He wasn’t happy with what he was being told, but fortunately, his insurance would cover the surgery. Still, it wasn’t something that he looked forward to. My older brother got it together for the surgery. The room was freezing with that blasting HVAC system, but they knocked him out so he didn’t have to continue shivering. My brother woke up being told the surgery went well and he needed a lot of time to recuperate. He stayed in bed for several days enjoying the lovely HVAC unit we had at home.
