I have to tell you that I was easily disappointed when I tried these washable air filters that I had bought. It was a major let down. Reading so many good things about washable air filters for the last year made myself and others easily confident that this was going to be the best thing I discovered in a long time, and however, when it came time to clean the washable air filters for the first time they began flaking apart! I could not guess it! These washable air filters were easily cheaply made and in the long run, I ended up having to go out and buy our proper HEPA air filters! And I was stuck with these useless washable air filters. I’m not sure if mauve it was a bad brand or bad batch of washable air filters, but all I do think is that I will not waste any more cash and try washable air filters ever again. I will stick to what I think which is HEPA air filters which are of the most top quality when it comes to air filters for your central heating, ventilation and A/C plan unit. No matter what, HEPA air filters have never let myself and others down and have consistently kept our central heat and air conditioning plan working great. I may have to spend money a bit more for these things, but in the end I would rather do that than have these flaking apart washable air filters which I paid even more for than our proper HEPA air filters! This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try washable air filters, but just be warned.
