Sporadically our imagination gets myself and others into a whole lot of trouble.
Recently when I was working out in our basement, I was thinking that I could absolutely use some more air conditioner down in the basement.
I had a look at the air duct and thought that if I made a large enough hole in the air duct, the cooling air would come flowing out while I was working out. I entirely took a hammer to our air duct and beat it until I was able to tear a large hole through it… When the air conditioner was running, a lot of cooling air came out at that point, but I also realized that our air duct was disfigured pretty badly thanks to our makeshift Heating, Ventilation, and A/C vent. Also when I went to other parts of the household, I hastily noticed that the other parts of the household were not as cool any longer. It didn’t take long to see a sizable jump in our energy costs and I knew that it was because of our disfigured air duct. When I called an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman to our household to fix the air duct, he was shocked. He asked if I lost our temper or something and took it out on the air duct. He couldn’t understand why I would chop a hole so large in our air duct like that when it was completely fine. I explained that I wanted more cooling air in our basement. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman said I could have just updated to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C zone control or had a ductless mini-chop Heating, Ventilation, and A/C installed. I felt pretty stupid, so I just asked him to please just finish fixing the air duct.
