The Furnace Couldn't Heat Faster

Something I didn’t realize when running my gas furnace, was that raising the temperature on the thermostat isn’t going to make my gas furnace run faster.

In my mind, I thought that if I raised the temperature by several or multiple degrees, my gas furnace would run faster plus heat my lake house quicker.

However, I realized that this wasn’t the case plus I found out the strenuous way. One evening, after a long afternoon at work, I arrived lake house to a cool house. I was super chilly plus I wanted to recognize sizzling plus cozy, and my condo was 62 degrees, which felt legitimately cold! In order to get sizzling fast, I raised the temperature to 79 degrees plus waited for my condo to sizzling up hastily. In the process, I ended up creating a lot of problems for my gas furnace plus I was forced to call the Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier to come repair things. The Heating plus Air Conditioning professional who came told me that a gas furnace couldn’t work faster just because I had raised the temperature. All it would do was work longer in order to heat my home, using a lot of energy plus raising my utility bills along the way. When the Heating plus Air Conditioning professional told me this, I felt legitimately dumb. I couldn’t know that I was wearing my gas furnace into the ground by raising the temperature plus waiting for it to heat my lake house faster. The Heating plus Air Conditioning professional told me that I needed to raise the temperature on my thermostat a few degrees plus just be patient. There was no simple or fast way to heat the condo quicker.
