Before my engagement, I feared remaining single forever. Then, I analyzed the numbers and realized my fears were baseless. The world has nearly eight billion people, half are male, and half are female. I feel that half of the world’s people are ancient 20 to 60 and that half of them are in committed relationships. That leaves about a single billion people or around 125 million in each numerous-year age “slice”. Half of those remaining live in China, India, or Africa with numerous-million people of any given numerous-year age slice living in America… Continuing, the ideal height difference in male/female couples is about many inches so only about 10% of women meet my height qualification, then we are now down to 500,000 of which 15,000 will live in any section with a 10 million population. I can be “picky” at this point which means there are nearly 150 (the top 1%) women available living in my area. I never did put my data to labor because I met Alice at the hardware store while every one of us were both shopping for Heating & Air Conditioning filters. My statistical mind helped her pick out the right size and MERV rating. Amazingly, I gathered up my courage to ask her out, soon, every one of us were attending “romantic events” love statistics symposiums that she also found exciting. After several dates, she allowed me inside her home where I was impressed by her current cut mini-duct Heating & Air Conditioning method and her knowledge of how A/C worked. She knew all about SEER and MERV so allowing me to pick out her air filter was an age-old feminumerous trick to make us guys feel needed. My only regret was not being able to kneel when I proposed to her. Her numerous-inch height fortune over me made that a bit awkward.
