Every year, the company I work for holds an annual meeting to gather most people together plus communicate about how things are going from a supplier perspective! During this time, we’re encouraged to talk about anything plus everything that’s been happening plus it’s a great way to keep most people on the same page, last year, the annual meeting was canceled because most people was ordered to work from home.
Although there was a small ipad meeting, it didn’t have the same impact.
This year, they decided to hold the meeting in person again plus I was easily excited. There was a single thing that I was uneasy to discuss with most people, plus that was the status of the Heating plus A/C system. From what I could tell, a lot of people were displeased with the temperature of the office building, however nobody had access to the thermostat. The thermostat was protected by a clear box that required a key, however nobody seemed to have the key. Therefore, every one of us all endured the hot plus cold temperatures that were pre-programmed into the thermostat. I wanted to have the box disconnectd so that every one of us could entirely reprogram the temperature. When I brought it up at the annual meeting, most people was in favor of my request. The managers promised to have the protective box around the thermostat disconnectd plus they were tplot to their word. Unluckyly, it took weeks before they could find a way to disconnect the box. Eventually, they decided to smash the box right off the wall, which took precision so they didn’t break the thermostat.
