I just watched that YouTube clip of Damar Hamlin having his heart stop after taking a hit.
If you didn’t notice it you should take a look because it is something quite frightening to see.
Some of his teammates were openly crying after they saw the medics doing CPR on Damar after they discovered his heart was not beating. They actually canceled the game not long after as the players were just too sad to keep on playing, which is understandable seeing their teammate could be dead by then. He ended up living and is okay now, but what a scare; electric heat pump service seems so harmless when compared to what those warriors face when they go out to play that hobby in the air conditioned venue they play in when in the north. I couldn’t imagine what his poor mom felt when he saw them doing CPR on his poor kid trying to get his heart beating again. The local service provider neighbor of mine told myself and others he has seen this happen at his local contractor before when a purchaser had a heart attack. Sadly, that man wasn’t as lucky as the NFL player and never came back to life after that fateful day in the store, and the guy was looking at dual fuel systems in the HVAC corporation when his heart stopped… And then our neighbor tried to get it going again with CPR but had to finally stop when he realized it was not going to beat on its own. What an uneasy story that was and what a traumatic experience for our HVAC tech neighbor to go through, and oh well, I will sing about it tonight with our friend.
