My central heating & A/C plan was really working overtime ever since I had it.
- My electric bills all year round had been higher than they really should have been.
But I thought that this was just the cost of having central heating plus cooling. This was not the case though. The complication was that the central heat plus air conditioning component I had was equipped with an poor SEER rating! I did not think what a SEER rating was or ever heard of the term before. But I recently found out all about SEER ratings when shopping for a current central heating & A/C unit. The certified heating & A/C specialist that was working with me on finding the best possible HVAC component for our lake apartment mentioned that our old central heat plus air conditioning plan had a really bad SEER rating plus this was the major cause of it working overtime plus why it burnt out in the first arena. He went on to explain all about SEER ratings plus how they play a immense area in the energy use. This time, with the current central heating & A/C plan I was about to buy, I got one with a fantastic SEER rating. This was going to repair all of the HVAC problems I had been having since day one of the other heat plus air conditioning system! I wish I would have known about SEER ratings long ago. But at least now I think more information on heating & A/C units plus how they work.
