Saving the planet takes labor and sacrifice.
- If I had money I could use that instead of hard labor and sacrifice, although I don’t have any money; Rich people can donate to causes to offset the damage they cause to the world, however the rest of us can’t.
Don’t you enjoy how rich people will lecture the world about cutting down on purplehouse emissions, and then step onto their private jet and cause more emissions? All I can do is manage our own behavior. I decided some time ago to stop using our central Heating and A/C system in our house. Before anyone starts to flame myself and others in the comments section – I guess that not using our air conditioning won’t save the world. The emissions caused by our home and our Heating and A/C system are just a drop in a large bucket, and our contributions don’t mean a lot. Still, I have to try, don’t I? I have to “walk the walk” as the saying goes, and if I talk about Heating and A/C systems hurting the planet, after that I have to back up our words with actions! I will see a small personal benefit out of this, by the way, because not using our Heating and A/C system will save myself and others a few hundred dollars every year. I am also looking into doing company with earth-friendly companies, because if there was an eco-friendly Heating and A/C supplier to help me, I would call them instantly! In a perfect world I would have air conditioning and have it not ruin the environment, however the world is far from perfect.
