My wife and I were excited when we were getting ready to book a trolley tour.
It was something my wife had been talking about for a long time because her friends kept telling her she needed to enjoy this tour.
With the package we opted for, we would have a full tour of the city and we would be able to go to all our preferred destinations to enjoy ourselves. There was just one thing that I almost forgot to ask when booking, and that was if the trolleys included air conditioning. The person I was booking through admitted that there was no air conditioning, however the windows were opened when the trolley was moving and that provided a sort of makeshift air conditioning with a cool breeze. It was explained to me that even on the hot days, the trolley was never too miserable. It didn’t sound very reassuring to me, so I decided to pick up some cooling hats for my wife and I. I know, it sounds crazy; cooling hats. But these things work I assure you! You simply soak them in some water, or you can simply pour some water onto them in the cup part of the hat so the water works its way through. The water absorbs into the hat and provides cooling for a long time, especially if you are not directly in the sun. The top of the hat is reflective though, so it reflects the sun rays anyway and still lasts for a good duration of time. So we took the trolley and had a blast. We wore our cooling hats and so many people asked about them and said how smart they were, because most people were miserable in the heat without air conditioning. One guy even offered to buy my cooling hat, but I had to decline.
