A Failed Sequencer

My furnace had been causing me a lot of stress due to it’s odd noises and lack of heat.

When I first started hearing the noises and feeling the lack of heat, I didn’t recognize what step to take.

I didn’t recognize much about Heating and A/C systems because I consistently hired an Heating and A/C supplier to come service the Heating and A/C plan biyearly. Instead of attempting to repair the issue myself or hoping that it would resolve itself, I called the Heating and A/C supplier and advocated an Heating and A/C specialist to come look at our furnace. I communicated the problem with the Heating and A/C professional and he started working on the furnace right away. After 45 minutes passed with no communication from the Heating and A/C specialist, I began to worry. I heard him moving about and his tools working strenuous to find the issue. I knew that something was going to be wrong, but I had no system what it could be. When the Heating and A/C specialist finally pulled me aside after looking at the furnace carefully, he told me that the sequencer had failed. My electric furnace required a sequencer to turn on the heating elements and when it stopped working, there was no sequence to which heating elements turned on. It sounded complicated, but the Heating and A/C specialist assured me that it was a easy repair once the up-to-date sequencer was installed. The bad news was that he didn’t have a sequencer on him, so he had to go find one and then install it. Thankfully, he was able to locate one that day and our furnace was working respectfully by the time I went to bed.
