Since I was young, my dad used to take me to work. He was an engineer at the train station. I enjoyed watching the train roar away and come in and understand how it functioned. I met so many people, the good, the bad, and most definitely the plain mean people. The train would have several stops and snake through the city ferrying people of all kinds. I would play in the waiting area and since I loved to draw, I would draw strangers on the train and give them their drawings. Now I am a qualified cooling workman working with one of the most prestigious indoor comfort businesses in the state. I went to visit my dad, who still works at the train station, and noticed that the waiting area was uninhabitable. It was steaming hot and the air felt heavy and musty. The state government had contracted the local business to handle the heat pump installation. The company had sent me and a cooling expert colleague of mine to assess the space and determine where to do the a/c setup. The state government had requested multi-split air conditioning for the heat pump type. The cooling product plus the requested wifi thermostat was delivered by the local service provider and they were not as expensive. We proceeded with the fitting process which took a couple of hours. The job was done at night since the train did not run for 24 hours. The train station manager was impressed by the transformation of the cooling industry and how much more about air conditioning we knew. I dare say that he seemed like he was about to give up his career for one at the cooling market.
