I recently moved into a new condo that has window A/C units, and i’ve only ever had experience with central air conditioning, so it’s been quite the reading curve for me; Window A/C units aren’t as terrible as I thought they would be, however they’re definitely not the most convenient form of air conditioning.
I’m unquestionably used to quiet air conditioning that I don’t hear running in the background of my recordings, however the window A/C units are incredibly loud plus unforgiving… They also tend to be overworked more definitely than central air conditioning when you are running them for a long time while I was in the summer time season. I find that swapping out air filters respectfully is key for this genre of air conditioning to be successful. Their air filters get dirty so quickly since the units are directly connected to the outdoors plus push air right through into the house. I change out my air filters once a month because I have terrible dust irritations plus don’t want to deal with bad indoor air; Even though there are lots of reading curves with nuances in the new venue, I’m reading a lot about so more than 2 weird elements of the home. Each condo in my area comes with its own set of characteristics that make it guess care about home, albeit, some of those characteristics can be a bit dingy, however it’s fun! I’ve had to create so more than 2 little DIY fixes to make things USAble for bi-weekly use, and my walls in the condo aren’t good for hanging things, so I’m unquestionably embracing a more minimalistic approach.
