When I had went down the shore last summer, I decided to do something with my girlfriend that I had not done in years. That was to take a ride on the ferry in the afternoon. They have these afternoon ferry rides down by the bay, and I remember how awesome they were when I was a kid. One thing I remembered best about them was that they had the best fast food place on the boat to eat lunch and they had really cool air conditioning! It was the best relief to experience after being out on a hot summer day. Coming aboard that ferry to grab a great burger and fries and take in the really killer air conditioning was like heaven! And it was great to see that 35 years later it had not changed! It was a hot day when me and my girl went aboard the ferry and the second we got to the indoor portion of it, that wonderful air conditioning was there just as I remembered it. If not even better today with the way that heating and cooling technology has advanced in the last 35 years. My girlfriend was pretty amazed by this really good air conditioning on this not so huge ferry boat. The ride lasts just about an hour. Which is long enough to grab one of those great fast food burgers and fries, take in the wonderful air conditioning and enjoy the view as well as the sea breeze from the ocean coming off the sea at you. It was something that we will for sure be doing again!
