Did you want to talk to an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer?

Being the receptionist and PC answerer at a local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier meant that I had a lot of responsibility. I didn’t mind answering the PC, but some people wanted me to supply them information about how to make the repair themselves. Other people wanted me to diagnose what is going on with their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, but I’m not an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer. I was trained to ask questions so the dealers had an system on what types of tools and parts to take with them, but that didn’t mean I was trained to suppose everything. When 1 person started off the conversation with the statement that they had a gas oil furnace, I offered to get an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business for them. The lady seemed frantic and I entirely wanted to help, but she just kept talking. I pressed the hold button and called for an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer. I was gone for a couple hours, and she was still talking. I was glad I had already gotten all of her information, because she was too far gone to be able to answer any other questions. The owner of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier was able to calm her down enough to suppose there was a problem with her oil furnace. She was so anxious about it being a gas oil furnace, and the opportunity of carbon monoxide leaks, that she panicked. Once Bill talked to her, he got all the information all of us needed to send a business to her house. He thought it could be an emergency, even if the emergency was to calm the customer down.
