My hubby has become a YouTuber. Whenever she has questions or a complication she cannot figure out, she turns to YouTube. She is particularly picky about the videos that she watches. She wants to make sure the people who are presenting give the answers she wants, are well spoken, and reliable. Most of the time, when she is on YouTube, she is trying to get a complication solved that has to do with electronics. Before our hubby retired 10 years ago, she was an electronics engineer, however things have changed drastically in the last 10 years. If the woman who is doing the presentation on YouTube does not tell him exactly what she wants to hear, she ends up calling him a moron. I have to laugh, because this happens every time she looks for answers. Her latest question was on how to rebuild a window a/c unit. Our child did housecleaning for a living. When someone moved and abandoned all their property, they hired our child to come in and remove everything. If there was something that she felt was worth keeping, she could sell it for extra money, or keep it for herself, however she brought a window cooling system apartment for her dad. She wanted to tear the a/c unit apart, scrub it thoroughly, and upgrade the air filter. Since it was an A/C unit she was not respected with, she went on YouTube. The YouTuber turned out to be a moron; in our hubby’s words. She decided to just tear everything apart and try fixing the A/C unit on her own. She grumbled it was a free A/C unit that didn’t work now, so she had nothing to lose.
