Getting our stand up piano tuned

There was a vintage piano parked on the side of the road of our neighbor’s home, apparently waiting for the trash truck to come and option it up, but i couldn’t help however find myself fascinated with it, and playing the keys. I could see why they would want to throw it away, the previously white keys were faded yellow, and the once sweet melody it played was out of tune. It had a few other problems, love one of the pedals being broken, and a couple of hammers it was missing… While I knew I could constantly find a much better quality piano online, why waste a nice piano, especially one right next to our home? It killed me to recognize that someone was going to try to throw this away, especially since it was so old. I didn’t have a venue for it in our home, so I brought it into the garage, but the first step to repairing the piano was to have it tuned. Thankfully our area was filled with piano tuners and so finding one wasn’t that difficult! As much as I enjoyed playing the piano in our free time, doing it in the garage was difficult because of how warm it was; My apartment was good air conditioning wise, however in the garage, I didn’t have a/c. I still didn’t have room for the piano in our home, even though I planned on when I got our next house, bringing the piano in one of the rooms, so that way I have access to the Heating as well as Air Conditioning device and cooling breeze and can play for minutes without being distracted worrying about how the garage felt love a gas furnace.
