Greek Restaurant Gyro Tower Requires New Air Conditioning for Establishment

A new Greek restaurant opened up in our town that has a hot climate, so air conditioning is necessary for most of the months out of the year.

The Greek place is incredible, the food is SO good, and very flavorful.

It is owned by a couple of brothers who grew up in Greece, and they have the best pita bread in the area, which they claim is a secret recipe. One of their specialties is a Gyro tower, that produces a bunch of steak and smoke from the grease of the meat cooking over the open flame BBQ pit in their kitchen. They got the BBQ pit installed when they first bought the place, and had to get permission to even build it from the city. FOr some reason, they never factored in the need for a strong air conditioner because of the amount of heat generated by the fire pit in the kitchen. During the winter months, the heat coming from the kitchen is most welcome, but any other month is absolutely abysmal. The heat inside drove many people away from the restaurant, so they invested in the opinion of an HVAC specialist to investigate how to cool the property down when it does get too hot. The HVAC specialist suggested that they install multiple HVAC units throughout the restaurant, and even one in the kitchen. The HVAC company we hired was able to complete this project in about a week, so the air conditionings were up and running in time for Fourth of July weekend, which was supposed to be in the low 100’s.
