I am starting my new rule tonight of no computer or phone after 9pm because I really didn’t sleep well last night after searching online for stuff till almost 11pm.
- I know better than to do this but I didn’t think it would affect me like it did, so starting tonight there will be no computer after sunset.
I don’t like when I do this because it is being selfish to myself, and now I have to go through the whole day half asleep. Oh well, I just need to grin and bear it like the other days when climate control wasn’t working and I didn’t sleep. I could drink more coffee but that will just give me the jitters, so today I will try to remain calm and I will make it through the day just fine. Working later at the HVAC business will wake me up when dealing with customers and phone calls, so I don’t have to try and drink more coffee because that will work even better. I will also go for a bike ride soon and eat an apple, which seems to wake me up with the natural sugar in it. My heating supplier told me about how apples are better at waking you up than coffee, while we were working one day on a heating and cooling system in his home. I will take a cold swim soon too and that usually snaps me out of feeling dopey very quickly. Today is Friday and we will play music later in the streets so I really need to be awake by then.
