A lot of our Wintertide clothing is acquired while we were in Spring sales at the local supercenter. I’m absolutely gleeful about the item I found at the supercenter yeahterday while I was walking through the hardware section. I just needed a up-to-date p-trap for our bathroom sink, although I glanced over at the window a/cs and saw a 10,000 BTU model for 25% off. It’s late September and the weather outside is already starting to get cold. I know they’re trying to make room for the space gas furnaces by getting rid of the remaining a/cs. To our luck, I was looking for a up-to-date a/c to replace our old window unit. I live in an up-to-date home with multiple different window a/cs. The one in our living room was replaced right before I moved in and it’s a nice machine. The one in our kitchen is certainly 15 years old by comparison and it’s barely running at this point. Even though it was the beginning of the fall season, I still use our a/c on and off until September. And by the time Wintertide ends, I’ll have a mostly-new a/c to keep myself and others cool inside our kitchen.
